What Causes Burning/itching Boils At The Outer Edge Of Ears?
A couple weeks ago my earrings started bothering my ears so I took them out. A week later the outer edge of my ear started burning and itching. Today both of the outer edge of my ears and burning and itching and they now have what feels like small boils or really bad ezema. What could this be and how can I treat it?
hello..good morning.. you seem to have got an allergic reaction to the earings. Its called contact allergic dermatitis. I would advise you to apply a steroid antibiotic combination cream, once daily application for a week , then you can switch over to a mid potent steroid cream for one week.. also do take antihistaminic tablet at night for itching. It should subside in a week to 10 days ..
