What Causes Burning Pain In Stomach With Nausea Post Consumption Of Coffee Or Wine?
I have a burning type of pain in the middle of my stomach, that radiates up into my throat and neck. It seems as though the pain is more acute after drinking coffee or a glass of wine, I've been known to indulge a little more than I should with the alcohol. I have also noticed that on occassion, I've felt nausea that is almost always accompanied with dizziness, and have just recently began to vomit right after a full meal
The given symptoms of burning sensation in GI (Gastrointestinal) tract could be due to acid peptic disease and mostly it is happening due to more secretion of acid in gastric region.
I would be doctor of this and I am treating all the patients those are coming to me with such complaint, with tablet Omeprazole once in day for three weeks. Avoid taking heavy meal, coffee, smoking prior to bed, drink more water try to have more green leafy vegetable diet.
If the symptom persists, then it needs to be ruled out for GI infection like Helicobacter and protozoa infection and for that you will have to see the GI physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
