What Causes Burning Pain In The Shoulder Blades?

I am female, 67 yrs. old, 5 7 , 220 lb. I sometimes have burning pain between my shoulder blades, sometimes pain under the shoulder blade, one day left another day middle, another, right, so strong it hurts to move certain ways, and sometimes hard to get a deep breath. Then it goes away for a while, but it seems to be coming more often. I have also experienced a tightness across my back between my shoulder blades with the burning, more than once and not often.

You seem to suffer hyperacidity. Moreover gall bladder and pancreatic problems cause such severe pain.
you will need a sonography of abdomen and in some cases CT enhanced of abdomen may be needed.
consult a gastrologist.
