What Causes Burning Sensation After Having Intercourse?

I m 50+ and my wife nearing 50. We ve been together for over 10 years and have enjoyed intercourse very much until this year. Both her and I get a burning sensation after intercourse. Both of us have gone to our doctors and so far urine tests come-up negative. Any ideas what s causing this all of the suddenly.

Hello,

Thank you for writing to us,

I had gone through your query and would like to suggest that as you had describe age 50+ so it should be possible that the skin of vagina might loose. and also the amount of pre cum is less so that burning sensation taken place.

You should use different positions that gives you more pleasure and penis easily enters in vagina.

I would also suggest for lubricant that allows penis to enter easily in vagina. So, that burning sensation might less.

Also you may use foreplay and Oral sex first before you go for intercourse because it will help for pre cum and also you and your partner will have more pleasure than normal intercourse and may help for reducing burning sensations.

If it not works i will suggest to concern a good doctor for more help they could give you details for the same after check up.

Hope you will find it helpful.

Thanks & Regards,
Dr. Gaurav Prajapati
