What Causes Burning Sensation After Sex?
Prior to my pregnancy, my husband and I had unprotected sex without issue. Now that I am pregnant, I have a burning sensation after he ejaculates. I do not feel this while the semen is inside, but I begin feeling the burning, when I get up to urinate. It lasts a few minutes, then subsides. Using a cool washcloth seems to help. I did have symptoms of a yeast infection a couple of weeks ago and treated myself with a brand name OTC product. those symptoms have resolved. I will be seeing my ob/gyn within the next month. Any suggestions/thoughts in the meantime would be helpful.

having sex with your husband without protection and you feel burning sensation when you urinate after sex and also you have yeast infection in past may be due to recurrence of infection as you took treatment without consulting doctor and you are pregnant so never took any OTC drug without consultation as it may also affect your child also.
as early as possible to consult gynecologist and do as advise by them
do routine urine examination.
