Hi,
If you were operated under spinal anesthesia, there is a remote possibility of nerve involvement leading to a gait deformity causing a certain limp. This often resolves with time and physiotherapy. Another possibility is some thrombophlebitis of the lower limb vessels; this seems more likely since you have a rise in temperature also. This can also cause pain, heat, redness and swelling. Cutaneous paresthesias subsequent to the surgery are another possibility. Please see your consultant for help and further management. Hope this helps.
