Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Burning and itching in the vagina is likely due to vaginal candidiasis which is a fungal infection.
You need to get a vaginal swab examination done to confirm the diagnosis and the type of candida infection( albicans or non albicans) should be found out.
Treatment with oral fluconazole should be given accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
