What Causes Burning Sensation And Swelling In The Labia Majora?
I just had sex with my boyfriend after not having sex with them for 2 weeks immediately after intercourse was finished I went to use the restroom and immediately felt a burning sensation and swelling in my genital area my partner says he has not had sex with anybody else but I do not understand why this consistently is happening now what could it be

Such swelling of the private parts with burning sensation is possible commonly due to following reasons:
1. Fungal or Trichomona infestation: Though these infections can get transmitted through sexual contacts, they can be achieved due to unhygienic practices also. They are associated with white vaginal discharge. Fungal infestation is very commonly observed in commode users. Fungal infection can be treated with anti-fungal medicines while Trichomona is treated by Metronidazole.
2. Bacterial infection which also may be a sexually transmitted infection or may be other infection achieved through other unhygienic practices. They need to be treated by antibiotics.
3. Rough sex can cause inflammation and swelling of private parts by local trauma. Some smoothening creams or vaginal lubricants will give you relief. Cold fomentation with ice packs will make you comfortable. Please report to your Gynecologist for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Both of you will need simultaneous treatment irrespective of symptoms, if any sort of infection is found. You need to observe absolute sexual abstinence, not only till you are comfortable, but till both of you are declared completely cured by the doctor.
