What Causes Burning Sensation And Tight Chest In An Asthma Patient?
I'm asthmatic , I woke up with a burning sensation in the abdomen. An hour later I felt my chest go very tight. I do not have pains whilst breathing, but sometimes they occur randomly. Cold temperatures worsens the symptoms. I also have high blood pressure. This has been going on for 5days.
hi i read through your question and understood your concerns. this mainly looks like a dyspepsia symptom.
This can be due to: -intake of spicy foods - pain medication etc. In your case if u r an asthmatic on oral steroid medication then the likelyhood of dyspepsia is more
-dyspepsia and acid reflux tend to aggravate or exacerbate asthma.
If I were your doctor I would recommend you to continue your asthma medication and take the foll. medication:
T.Pan-D once daily syp.reflux forte three times daily before food
take these medications for atleast 2 weeks, when u start using them your symptoms may appear to improve , but it takes at least 2 weeks for any ulcer in your stomach to heal.
-eat less spicy food -don't sleep immediately after you eat....give a gap of atleast 2 hrs -don't eat a heavy dinner. -eat food rich in fibre
Wish You a speedy recovery..!!
