What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?

I some how managed to cut the little flap near the pee hole and it burns when i pee because its an open scratch it was bleedung and then stoped. I want to make sure i can keep it clean and free if infection also find a way to reduce the burn when i pee please help.

* Anyway now already cut , should be more cautious
- keep the area thoroughly clean with antiseptic soap / liquid 3 times / day
- Neosporin ointment for local application for soothing & faster recovery 3
times a day
- refrain from all sexual activities
- in our clinic we recommend analgesic acetaminophen (325)mg 3 times a
day after meals and antibiotics according to the clinical evaluations.
- maintain hydration with plenty of liquids
- wear loose, cotton , clean undergarments
- if more pain / redness / fever / difficulty in micturition immediately
consult in ER
