Hi i have been wearing contact lenses for years and about a week ago the contact in my left eye tore, i managed to get it out and wore my glasses for a couple of days. but now when i put in a new pair my left eye burns, have changed the lense a couple fo times and its been a week but it still burns when i wear the contact in my left eye.
possibility of dry eye syndrome for prolong use of con tact. remove it at bedtime. now that you have removed it apply refresh eye tear eye drop. when you are alright then get your eye examined and if every thing is normal can use your contact lens.
it can be dry eye syndrome for prolong use of contact lens. this result in corneal erosion now that you have discontinued contact and using specs can apply refresh eye tear drop. after recovery get your eye examined by eye doctor to see status of corneal erosion. on his recommendation can start using contact lens.
