What Causes Burning Sensation In The Eyes Despite Using Artificial Tears For Blepharitis?
For a week my eyes have been red and burning. My Ophthomalogist diagnosed me with Blepharitis, he gave me a spray to put on eyelids 2x a day. He recommended artificial tears 3 x day. This has not improved the problem. The artificial tears make the eyes burn, and I am very sun-sensitive.
Since it diagnosed as blepharitis, it can be cleaned with sterile gauze and apply Neosporin ophthalmic eye ointment. You are photosensitive, so avoid exposure to sunlight, takes a dark glass use moisturizer. You can continue to use refresh eye teardrop.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
