What Causes Burning Sensation In The Lower Abdomen While On Geodon?
My daughter was put on Geodon about 2 weeks ago. She seemed good the first week but since Friday has been nauseous has pain in lower stomach and burning in her upper stomach and esophagus. Is this a side effect and should she stop the medication. She is supposed to take it soon but won t eat anything be cause of the nausea. She is also complaining g of dizziness?

It is due t gastritis associated with the use of Geodon.
You can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole along with Geodon to minimize gastritis and related side effects. It is better to take the Geodon after food to reduce dyspeptic symptoms and pain.
