What Causes Burning Sensation In The Lungs And The Throat?

This morning I woke up and my left lung feels like it's burning, kinda like how heart burn feels but it on my lung and it hurts to take a deep breath. After awhile my throat started to feel the same and now I can't stop coughing. Is this serious or should I wait it out?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Here you can have acid reflux that leading burning sensation or lung infection in form of bronchitis .....

So first rule out respiratory causes by chest x ray ...This is because you have difficulty while breathing also .....

If bronchitis not present than no need for worry ....

Acid reflux can lead irritation and cough. .
So by excess coughing hurting can be there .

For heart burn take omeprazole capsule 20 mg on empty stomach before meal. ....

Less spicy foods. ...

Head elevation while sleeping ....

Coffe , chocolate and pestry less ....

More water ...

Don't assume recumbent position immediate after meal ....

Heavy meal avoided ...

With keeping this in mind consult physician ...

Take care ....
