What Causes Burning Sensation In The Shin Area?

I m a 70 year old woman who had a total hip replacement 6 months ago without any complications and healed quickly and well......however, in the last few weeks, my shin has been burning and the groin area has been sore, same as when I discovered I needed hip surgery, is there anything I can do to lessen or correct what is going on. I did have a follow up 4 month visit and the xrays showed everything was fine and of course I wasn t experiencing any discomfort then. My next follow up is in March 2019.
