HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, first of all it is not the illness that it life threatening but it is the hyperacidity and Omeprazole is the drug of choice for this but right dose and time is matters here, Omeprazole should be given in 40 mg dose and it should be given at evening time and it would be much better if taken in combination with Domperidone 20 mg, try to stay away from the stress, avoid taking spicy food, avoid taking heavy meal prior to bed else it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
