What Causes Burning Sensation In The Throat And Chest?

A friend has had burning in her throat and chest for several months. Also she just found out she has a mass on her spleen. is there any one disease that would fit those symptoms? email YYYY@YYYY Also, she had a test that shows she has a partially collapsed lung.

Is it splenomegaly? Only depending upon two symptoms it is difficult to relate. It may be possible with cytomegalovirus infection or infectious mononucleosis or EBV infection etc. But both may be different entities. Please consult your physician he will examine and check for other possible causes then treat you accordingly.
