i had burning feeling on my throat sometimes starting from last year. It happened only few times. When the burning feeling comes the whole person feels weak. But the feeling only last for a short time about 5 minutes or so. lately i lost some of my voice ability. I had acid reflux before and these 3 month i had a foot injury and I have to lift my foot high all the time. I am not sure if it caused me loosing some of my vocal ability. I believe that I should see a throat doctor. Doris
about your question i would like to tell you that these symptoms you mentioned refer mainly to have throat infection bacterial or viral or having gastrooesophageal reflux that matches your words and reflux is harmful to throat and lead to irritation of the throat as gastric acid reflux reach your throat and lead to consequences of throat irritation and burning sensation..........your feeling of these symptoms should not make you worry as it is common problem.....about what to do that you should first refer to throat doctor to examine your throat and chest ....limit drinking coffee or tea and alcoholic drinks...... you should be away from stress and anxiety andspicy foods because these will get symptoms worse.......you should also drink alot of warm fluids that will make you better .. .....you can gargle your throat with saline as simply it helps to decontaminate your throat. ......you can take rantidine or omeprazole to decrease gastric acidity and improvement will occur.....some times we require throat swab for investigation if symptoms get worse but now you not need that.......if bacterial infection suggested you will prescribed amoxicillin or erythromycin as it is antibiotic has great role in treatment of throat infection.............wish you healthy life
