Hi. Three days ago, around midnight, i ate some spicy spaghetti at the same time drinking cold kool-aid mix. Whiles eating and drinking, i could feel a burn in my throat and i felt it every time i drank the kool-aid. After 30 mins or so, i started to feel like i had something in my throat...I guessed it was the food that could not digest properly but its been three days now and im still feeling this. I tried to puke but nothing will come out...the little that came out tasted spicy. What could this be? Please help

Hello,

Excessive spicy food usually cause burning sensation in the mouth but patients with pharyngitis or glossitis may feel excessive pain. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Use cap b complex once a day for ten days. Use tablet. pantaprazole 40 mg once a day before breakfast for one week. If symptoms have not improved, please consult with your ENT specialist / physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
