What Causes Burning Sensation On Wrist With A Ruptured Blood Vessel?
I am a 39 yr old female and last night while putting my daughters pjs on I felt a burning sensation in my wrist and then I noticed I had a swollen ruptured blood vessel in my wrist. Shortly following, my wrist was sore and tender and for about ten minutes I felt dizzy.
You are experiencing burning sensation in your wrists. Shortly the wrist got sore and tender. Such symptoms may arise due to tendinitis, sprains or carpal tunnel syndrome. It is treated by certain therapeutic exercises that help to strengthen the wrist. Immobilization helps to decrease pain and improve wrist mobility. You are suspecting a ruptured blood vessel in your wrist.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get imaging tests (X-ray, MRI, doppler or ultrasound examination of blood flow in the arteries and veins, arteriography, coldstress test, etc.). You will be treated (repair and surgery) accordingly. Since you are a little dizzy, do not drive, do not do any heavy work. Stay at rest. Do not take any stress and stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
