What Causes Burning Sensation Under The Penis And Slight Bleeding During Masturbation After Removing A Double J Stent And Urethral Stone?
I had a dj stent in my urethra for about 2 months because of a ureteral stone. 10 days ago I had it removed through ureteroscopy together with the stone. Today I wanted to masturbate to see if everything is ok but I felt an unbearable burning sensation under the shaft of my penis towards its tip and then a few drops of blood came out. After I stopped the burning and blood went away slowly. Is this normal after 10 days after the ureteroscopy procedure?

Presently, your symptoms may be indicative of injury to the ureter thus causing pain and bleeding. Discomfort can be due to swelling and inflammation of the ureter. If you get fever, it will be suggestive of infection.
You are advised to get a post-operative follow up clinical examination by your treating doctor, so that the factor/pathology causing you discomfort can be diagnosed and treated at the earliest. For relief, you can take analgesic or pain-relieving medication to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling.
