What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating After Intercourse?

My partner and I had sex for the first time last week and he says that it burns when he pees now. He also said that it started to burn as soon as he put it in me. I got tested 3 weeks before that and my results came back clean. I asked the partner I had before him if he had any similar symptoms after he and I had sex and he said he didn t have any at all. I am 19 and my partner with the problem just turned 20. He hasn t gone to the doctor yet, but keeps insisting I have him something. I have had zero symptoms of any kind. I would really like to know so he could stop accusing me.

Burning sensation while urinating can be caused by bacterial infection in urinary tract. Site of infection could be bladder or urethra.

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is treated with antibiotic. You should do some test such as urinalysis or USG. Previous unprotected sex could be causal of UTI. UTI in women is often asymptomatic.

I suggest you and your partner to visit doctor.
