What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating Without Bladder Infection?

I am a female age 17, slight burning when i urinate, this morning it came out a thick yellow, it happened before, but the doctor said it wasnt a bladder infection after taking my urine sample from the first time, why does this happen, and i am on my period now.

urinary tract infections can sometimes be missed out on a routine urine examination. if your symptoms persist it would be better to do urine culture and check for the growth of any organism and target treatment towards that specific organism. dark yellow color is usually due to dehydration. drink plenty of fluids
