I'm 59 years old (male) Recently, burning with urination, pain during urination and feeling a little pressure in my urine. Also feel tired and cold (chills) Ultrasound Results: The prostate is a symmetrical facade. No bluging the bladder floor. Sizes(prostatic volum=27cc) larger than normal prostate and has a heterogeneous echo. Do I have prostate cancer?
Cancer of the prostate would not cause burning. You would have a nodule on examination of your prostate or an elevated psa. The "heterogeneous echo" does not have much meaning and we do not use that to diagnose cancer in urology.
