What Causes Burping With Nausea?

Hi, I think I had a virus about 2 weeks ago. I vomited only for one day and was unwell (general) After that I m still not feeling good. I m burping all the time ( if I eat or don t eat) I feel a bit dizzy and have nausea...I also have the sensation there is something stuck in my throat I went to the doctor (twice) but she said everything was normal regarding my stomach and intestine... But I still have these uncomfortable symptoms now for a bit more than 2 weeks When I went to the doctor, I said I needed to go to the toilet (poo) many times a day (after eating specially but not diahrrea) and the poo had a different smell and consitency (mucus). At the second medical appointment, I asked for a blind treatment anti - worm (I m brazilian and in Brasil we sometimes take anti worms as precaution). Thinking of these symptoms I thougth it could be giardia (dizzy, tired, fullness, burping, nausea, slightly headache, different poo...) The doctor was a bit reluctant of giving me a blind treatment for giardisis but I instisted, once I m in touch with dogs and cats and a treatment anti - worm wouldn t be that bad in case it wasn t giardiasis I took 2g Metronidazol daily for 3 days but I still have the same symptoms (they are not really strong but I know I m not feeling good, not normal...) Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from-GERD post-Stomach Flue followed with ?CEliac Disease causing IBS like complaints
This is because, you almost tried treatment with anti-protozoal(giardiasis)/antiworm (for worms) but the Complaints recurred.
Other cause could be -secondary bacterial infection-which seems to be untreated with antibiotics.The mucus with bacterial diarrhea seemed to present after the Viral flue attack,which initiated this dysbiosis.
Hence though your case was treated with medicines blindly,the GERD with entero-Colitis was missed to be treated with PPI(Omeprazol)-with prokinetics(Domperidone) and with Mebeverine(antispasmodics).
Besides this one missing factor was-Bland rice diet/with youghurt and butter milk and / with Sporlac cap- to stabilize the changed microbial flora along with this-for period of 2-12 weeks,as it is being a prolonged IBS attack post stomach flue.
Multivitamins with Vit B12/Folic acid/Calcium and Vit D and Magnesium supplements to come over the malabsorption from this illness
