What Causes Buzzing Sensation In Body And Palpitations?
Im 5 6 and about 185 - 190 and today i went walking to exercise for the first time in a year. I walked my neighborhood for about an hour that was three almost four hours ago and now it feels like my body is buzzing and my heart is beating hard; im laying down and i can feel my pulse thudding. Is this normal or should i be concerned?
Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns. That thudding sensations are called palpitations which are normal at the time of exercise at some extent. It can occur even in anxiety, excessive gas problems, thin individuals but it can occur in heart cconditions like arrhythmias and some valvular heart disease. My advice to you is -
1. Ask your doctor regarding holter study(24 hrs ecg monitoring) and 2d echo study (sonography of heart). If this test are normal then you should not worry about heart conditions, it's just lack of exercise which has caused this palpitations.
2.Do regular brisk walking at least for 40 minutes per day. Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits daily.
3.Whenever you have this type of symptoms again - just lie down, keep calm and be relax. Avoid physical exertion during palpitations. Thank you. Have a nice day.
