What Causes Canker Sore On The Tongue?

I have a canker sore on my tongue, I just moved away to college and really haven t been sleeping right or eating almost anything. I know I was dehydrated for a while and I was just wondering if now that I am eating normally if that could cause tongue irritation

hello, thanks for your query, canker sores or apthous ulcers could be due to stress, anemia, some systemeic diseases or some vitamin deficiencies or some times idiopathic(no cause). you may require vitamin supplements as per deficiencies. kindly visit an ent surgeon and evaluate.hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
