What Causes Change In Lip Color In New Born Baby?
hi.my son is 3 weeks old.his lips were pink in color and he had fair complexion when he was born.Now he has become quite dark in color and his lips color changed to black.i am not worried about his complexion but i am quite worried about his lips color.will the lips color remain blck or does it change in future?because they were pink when he was born.

Dear parent, dark colored lips could be a sign of hypoxia. hypoxia can be a result of a weak heart that is unable to pump blood efficiently or as a result of septal defect.. I recommend you take the child for assessment in the hospital
