Hello, I am a 24 yr old male in relatively decent shape with asthma. I just ran two miles in 14min 18sec and the center of my chest felt crushed and I had a bloody taste in my throat. I just started back running last week after about 6 months off (ran two miles three days last week at a 19min pace) and I am 6 190lbs. Is this anything to worry about?
There is a limit your body and heart can pump blood rapidly. The crushing sensation probably is because of the deficiency of blood in your lungs and heart during running. Do more of anaerobic exercise to train your muscles for working with less oxygen. There is nothing to worry. You are more fitter than many
