What Causes Chest Discomfort While On Lipotrim Diet?
doctor
I have taken part in the lipotrim total food replacement diet for 2 weeks starting at 12 st..but in the last few days have been suffering chest discomfort and now i cannot sleep beause of it,, im wondering if my weightloss of almost a stone in 2 weeks is having adverse efffect on my cardiac system? pulse is strong and regular but something doesnt feel right..
Hello There! So you are on the Lipotrim Diet for 2 weeks and are now having chest pains and you are wondering if a too rapid of a weight loss could have caused the chest discomforts?
Lipotrim holds its ingredients close to its chest. However, it is such a low calorie program that you are to test ketones at a clinic and check in with a GP. Please request your GP to take a look at your heart and possibly run some blood-work to look at (Creatine phosphokinase , indicator of heart injury) CPK, electrolytes and check your blood pressure, I would do that as soon as you can. Do not ignore chest discomfort.
In the meantime, I will look into this diet further. It does not appear safe at all to me. Regards, Kathy Shattler, MS,RDN
