hello, and thankyou for listening. i started having chest pains and heart palps. among other scary symptoms aprox 2 years ago. collapsed during a stress test and had a cardic cath 1 year ago.i was put on metropelol, daily.actorvastin, low dose asprin and nitro when needed. the cath was done because they said it looked like my heart swelled up but they didnt know why. at the time all i knew was a 15% blockage was present. i had to leave that practice right after this and find another dr closer to me so i never had other test results in my hands for another dr to review. it took a year to get them but they finally came in november. i cant really read these but it says there is mild mitral regurgatation as well as mild tricuspid andpulmonic regurg. also artoric stenisis is present. ok, so, i heard about a pcp that was suppose to be terrific and i saw him 2 days ago. he put down the dr who did the tests. refused to review the test results, told me it was wasted time. and bashed the insurance i have because only low lifes had mass. health and he would never have seen me had i ever called him at his prievous practice. told me there was nothing medically he could do for me and the dr that ordered such tests is only putting money in his pocket. i assured him the dr. i saw is of high standards and highly respected in the cape cod healthcare network. so now im nowhere. now, my question . should i be concerned about what ive read and should i be monitored by a cardiologist. my mom had first heart attack at 38. my sister died suddenly last year of a heart attack at56. and my brother just had mitral valve replaced in boston. he is 53. in the end of the appointment from hell this man told me that sometimes we think we are sick but really are not and we believe that our issuse are bigger than they appear and i should see a phyc. dr. am i nuts or was this just rude and unprofessional?
