What Causes Chest Pain And Difficult Breathing?

Everyday at least once I get this pain near my heart and It hurts only when I try breathing so I have to breathe shallow for about 30 seconds, no more...it used to be only 1-2 seconds, and only about once a day but now its more and more everyday. What could it be?
