What Causes Chest Pain Followed By Shortness Of Breath?
I have had this past year a couple of episodes where I have had chest pain, which causes my breath to become very short. I also am worried because the top of my right foot is discolored a bit, only up towards the toe(although there is no pain). I worry about diabetes, I am 34 and it does not run in my family
Chest pain along with shortness of breath is an indication of problem related to heart. If you have these kind of symptoms, you should get and Electrocardiogram(ECG) done. So, for that you should consult your doctor. ECG will be more conclusive if it is done while you have chest pain. This symptoms should not be ignored. As far as discoloration of top of your right foot is concerned, it can have many reasons. I need to know more about it like do you have itching along with that?, do you have swelling or pain at the site?, do you recall any recent injury to the area?, It will be best if you can send a photograph. You may suspect having diabetes if you have excessive urination and recent change in your food habites like excessive appetite and thirst. You can get your RBS (random blood sugar) done at a nearby clinic if you suspect yourself of having diabetes. Best regards,
