Hello, I m 35 years of age and went into a&e yesterday due to chest pains. My ECG came back fine and bloods however my pulse was 105 and was discharged from hospital with pain killers. However I have just checkd my blood pressure which is normal but my pulse is 96 is that ok?

Hi Your chest pain with normal ecg can be most probably be related to some muscular pain Some times real cardiac pain also shows normal ecg, without any changes, which can be misleading. If the pain is persistent &you have symptoms like increased sweating, difficulty in breathing, you can go for testing with cardiac enzymes heart rate of 96 can be due to the pain &anxiety Take care
