What Causes Chest Pain On Left Side With Light-headedness?

I have a chest pain on the left side, it started yesterday and it comes and goes, on a pain scale from 1 to 10, 10 being most painful its a 2, but I also had lightheadedness yesterday when I first started getting the pain. I'm a 26 year old male I also smoke and I'm a welder.

Thanks for query.chest pain in younger age group are usually muscular in origin but can be otherwise in some cases.if its really bothering go for an ECG and chest x ray for evaluation.if its heaviness rather than pain it may be effusion .all that can be made by evaluation.regards
