Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Did you stop methamphetamine?

The vessel constriction effect of methamphetamine causes most of the problems, and this raises blood pressure, and that can cause damage, and/or heart attack.

But these effects would be expected mostly to last only the duration of the high. Psychological effects can last and damage to the heart, though, can also give lasting symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
