What Causes Chest Pain While Breathing?

Hi I'm a 13 year old female and the middle of my chest hurts sometimes when i breathe or laugh its been hurting for a while now and I have asthma and my mom thinks it might be my chest is tighten inside but i tried my inhaler and it still hurt in the middle i want to go to the doctors but my mom wont take me. Is there anything wrong with my chest??

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely costochondritis.Pain while palpation on the rib area is characteristic.Anyhow it is better to rule out other cause by auscultating your chest as you are having asthma.ECG and Chest x ray should be taken if needed also.For costochondritis i treat my patients with anti inflammatory gels of diclofenac or nimusulide for local application.Hope this may help you.
