What Causes Chest Pain While Having Olmetec 40mg For High BP?
HI, Doctor Good evening. I have been suffering from hypertension almost 25 years. I have been taking olmetic 40mg plus and Norvasc 5mg. Past couple days I have been felling left chest pain. Which is come and go, sometimes it last long time. Please advise me do you think it is symptom of heart attack. Thanks mahbubur _ YYYY@YYYY

hi your medications for hypertension are ok. but any chest pain especially in hypertensive & diabetic patients can have some significance. some times even gastritis can mimic the cardiac pain,please take a dose of antacids and pantoprazole, if it is not reduced, it is better to get it evaluated with the cardiologist, with cardiac enzymes, ecg, 2d-echo, Tread mill test, if reguired an angiogram. all the best, take care
