What Causes Chest Pain While Jumping On A Trampoline In 5 Year Old?
My 5 year old son complaining of chest pain while jumping on a trampoline. We just got the trampoline yesterday and he s only been on it a few times. He has only been jumping up and down - pretty controlled. Nothing crazy on it (yet). Any idea if this is serious?
Hi...by what you quote I feel that you kid is having a muscular pain and unless he is breathless or having unconsciousness or seizures you need not worry. If pain in severe you can give - Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose (maximum ceiling dose of 500mg) every 4-6th hourly that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health. Dr. Sumanth MBBS., DCH., DNB (Paed).,
