Hello my name is Amber Stone I am 23 years old! I have been having a lot of stinging pain in the middle of my chest a lot! In the beginning ( like 2 to 3 months ago) it was pressure and stinging and then it went away! Now about 2 weeks ago I start having stinging pains but no pressure! It stings also when u bend down to pick something up! I do not know what I should do! I was hoping maybe you would have an answer and maybe tell me what kind of doctor I should see! Thanks! Stinging pain in heart at the age of 23 yrs are mostly musculoskeletal like costochondritis. But we need to rule out other possibilities like pluritis or pericarditis. My advice to you is.
1.Ask your doctor to do your 2d echo (sonography of heart) and x ray chest.. It will give proper idea regarding if you have any heart or lung problem.
2.If no abnormalities found than it will be musculoskeletal, then you need to do warm fomentation of local area, local painkiller ointments help a lot in this.
3.kindly also check your vit D levels and take treatment for it if low.
