I have pain in my upper chest, kinda under my clavicle and it is really sharp especially when I take a deep breath. It came out of nowhere! It hurts when I move certain ways and take deep breaths and only a dull ache when I am just sitting. Any idea what it could be?
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. In my opinion, you are mostly having musculoskeletal pain. Your pain is associated with movements. This is characteristic of musculoskeletal pain. So better to apply warm water pad on affected areas. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Don't worry, you will mostly improve in 1 week with all these. If not improving then get done chest x ray to rule out lung related causes like pneumonia or pleurisy (inflammation of pleura). Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
