What Causes Chest Spots With Itching And Redness?

Greetings! I have mildly red, circular spot on my upper chest. It is approximately 8 cm in diameter. There is mild itching. It has persisted for several months. Skin is not raised, nor is it oozing anything. I am not on any medications and am in quite good health. Age 45.
