Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i m having a weird chill sensation at my knee at times, and i don t really know why. normally it occurs like after an hour of sitting. then when i stood up i can feel this weird chillness at my knees. almost like something cold is poking my knee. what does it imply?
As what I feel that you need to get an x-ray or an MRI of the knee joint. As this may happen due to any tissue involvement which is damaged. But the usual feeling complained by many is hot and cold is something very much rare.
If we knew your age and any other past medical history it would have allow us to provide some diagnosis. But as it's missing we need to get the knee assessed for some soft tissue involvement and later may be an MRI will be of help to understand the extent of the involvement.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
