Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having ankle/foot pain, it feels like I bruised my foot, but I didn t do anything to hurt it. It s just sensative to the touch. I was born with both my feet turned in. And every so often I get pain in my ankles when I walk, I m just wondering if my problem now might have anything to do with my cronic ankle pain.
Due to the over lasting of the foot inwards and pain, there will be ligament weakness which is leading to excessive pain and no relief. The whole biomechanics of the joint must have changed. To correct that starting from basic platform will be helpful.
Hot water fermentation, ankle toe movements, calf strengthening exercises, balance board training. In fact the balance board training will help to correct the muscle imbalances and also improve the biomechanics of the joint which on practicing will reduce the pain to a bigger extent.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
