Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of chronic cough and sneezing which is due to severe upper respiratory tract infection leading to bronchitis/ granular pharyngitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you do warm saline gargles and take steam twice a day. Avoid the use of sharp and spicy food substances. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Your symptoms will resolve soon. If symptoms keep on persisting you should consult ENT specialist once and take proper treatment. You should get an X-ray chest done along with pulmonary function tests. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin or penicillin) along with decongestant nasal sprays.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
