What Causes Chronic Coughing That Is Aggravated More In Summer ?
Im only 15 but i have been having a chronic cough since I was 12.It s like really loud and people often mistake it for a sneeze.My mom doesnt really think anything about because the last time I went to the doctor he said it was probally nothing.I notice it is worse in the warmer months but I have no allergies,just coughing.It just happens less during winter. I would say my throat gets this random itch and thats when I start coughing like crazy.For the most part it is a dry cough but sometimes droplets come out.It looks spit but in droplets. Sorry if I grossed you out . Oh and my throat is not red or inflammed
If it is from your throat you should check accurately:
1. for a food allergy or an allergy to inhalant allergens
2. viral condition
I would recommend:
-a chest X-ray
-a throat swab (sample of secretions from the back of your throat which can be tested for infections);
-lung function tests
-allergy tests
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

What Causes Chronic Coughing That Is Aggravated More In Summer ?
Hello, May I ask if the cough origin is from your throat or your chest. If it is from your chest you should check these 5 probable causes: 1. a lung disease symptom 2. an allergy symptom 3. a thyroid nodule symptom 4. a cardiovascular disease symptom 5. a gastroesophageal reflux disease symptom If it is from your throat you should check accurately: 1. for a food allergy or an allergy to inhalant allergens 2. viral condition I would recommend: -a chest X-ray -a throat swab (sample of secretions from the back of your throat which can be tested for infections); -lung function tests -allergy tests Hope I have answered your query.
