I've had watery diarrhea for more than 4 months. Loss of appetite. Lost 17 pounds, from 199 to 182. drs have tested for c-dif, parasites, epi, and all lab test are negative. I have energy in the 7am, but slowly run down around noon. I resist taking a nap, but when I do, its usually 2-3 hrs and I get up and work for a few hours more but feel tired. Bed around 11 or midnight. I tried Boost, to give me energy and it goes right thru me. I usually drink 3-4 16oz bottles of water a day. I stopped drinking 2% mlk and other milk products, cheese, yogurt etc. One dr. said no fiber, another dr. said no lactose, poultry/eggs, wheat, gluten, said it was ok to eat miso soup, soy yogurt/soy ice cream, fish, kenja, tofu, grits. Not happy for the diet change, but I have avoided fiber, fruits & vegs for 1 month, and dairy products for 2 weeks. I still have the watery bms, fatigue, occasional pain when I eat solids, on my right or left side, close to my pubic area. pain and acid reflux & nausea when I bend over at the waist.
I've taken omeprazole for about 8 yrs, when I was diagnosed with gerd, Cymbalta since 7/2017, when I was diagnoised with fibromyalgia 20/30 mg 1x, D-3 , iron, baby asprin 81mg every other day. I've had pain since 2000 and drs have said it was arthritis. I would take 3 ibuprophen at once when I couldn't tolerate the pain, and use an ice pack. Never been on pain meds until My rheumatologist saw me in July 2017. The Cymbalta worked amazingly, but I'm worrying about long term use. I'm afraid it may be blocking the pain of something that needs to be taken care of. My current probs began Dec 24, 2017, fever, aches, pains. Went to hospital ER, said I had a UTI. Given meds, then I got a respiratory infection with coughing, took more meds and antihistamine. Went to Urgent care after 3 months of diarrhea. lab took stool sample, came back neg. Went to md, took blood work to check for epi, all came back negative. I've had 2 days of normal bms and all the other days have been watery bms. I don't mind the weight lost but I'm worried about loosing too much too fast. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeanie
