What Causes Chronic Headaches And Stiffness In The Neck?
I am a 61 yo female with chronic headaches...lasting 3-5 days about every 1-3 months. I am otherwise very healthy. Today is the sixth day of a bad one that seems to stem from the base of my scull and radiates to the ear, then behind my eye, then to front of head. Mostly dull, but sometimes sharp pain. Started on left side beginning of week, now on right side. Have always had a very stiff neck, carry most tension and stress there. Considering chiropractic and/or massage therapy.....

i reviewed you case and for your information chronic headaches and neck stiffness occurring together are mist commonly seen in meningitis si to rule out it csf examination and culture should be done.
it can be in other medical conditions also like in raise intra crania pressure, infections etc.
i would recommend you to see a neurologist for this.
and do provide more information regarding any episode of fever, visual disturbances
