i take gabapentin for muscle pain that takes it away abouti use 1800mg stops the pain all over my body aches and cronic pain neck shoulders n fingeres and joints along with ambien 10 mg helps me sleep. i have cronic insomnia i was taking gabapentin ad bedtime with io mg of ambien which dhelpwed me sleep and all pain a;; over me stop being the pain,i am wwondering if 24 mg would be ther bnest amountwould be the rirht number to put me asleep.
Gabapentin may not help you in insomnia neither it causes insomnia but as a matter of fact, the disease of functional disorders for which you are taking Gabapentin (it could be fibromyalgia, although not mentioned here) can cause insomnia. For sleep, you can try Lorazepam, but prior to this, you can try exercise and hot milk prior to bed.
