What Causes Chronic Vomiting After Bariatric Surgery?
my partner had bariatric surgery in november lost 80 pounds already. he dont eat and vomits all the time. they just took out his gallblader and is extremly sick still cant eat or drink. now by accident they found blood clots in his lungs and leg. i feel the hospitol he is at is not doing enough. he is not getting any stonger or better. he has been in since tuesday for blood thiners and potassium.
Hi welcome to him I understand your query and concern. Normally it takes time for 6-8 weeks for patients after bariatric surgery to get relieved of symptoms.Meanwhile continue with Pantoprazole,Domperidone,Antibiotics,Syrup.Aristozyme.Take plenty of fluids.Take home based diet.Liquid diet is preferable to solids.Fruits and vegetable salads will be very much helpful in your case.Do not worry.Avoid spicy and fried foods.Exercise regularly.If still symptoms persist you need to get an Ultrasound abdomen and CT abdomen immediately and consult your surgeon for expert management.
